The Best Vacations In Cape Town

There are plenty of different holidays which can offer a great time away from the stress in the office. Vacations in Cape Town have been attracting a lot of tourists recently, simply because there is so much to do and see. In the past the whole country was a little unstable and folk were afraid of coming here. However, it is completely safe to come to these parts now.

Since hosting the World Cup soccer, things have greatly improved. The transport is also great, with buses and trains to help you get around. In saying that, you will need a car to help you get to certain areas. However, there is a great tour bus that will take you to all the major tourist spots. You can hop and hop off. This is very well organized.

Some people enjoy the quiet and love spending time in the mountain where you can simply unwind in the tranquility. You can hire a mountain bike and explore some of the trails. There are plenty of places that you can go. You will find baboons in the forests of Tokai who are really harmless. You can take walks on some of the mountains and gentle strolls in the suburbs which are still quiet.

Table Mountain is a sight not to be missed with it's flat top, making it completely unique in structure. Some people will want to walk up here, but be warned that you should be super fit for an adventure like this. A ride up the cable car can be a thrilling experience. A gentle stroll up Lions head at night under the full moon is something else to think about.

Families can escape to the beautiful beaches or to the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens. There are areas which you will find it is completely safe for children to run around and parents can be by themselves for a while. A the boulder beach, you will be able to see a huge amount of penguins, and children always love this area.

There are also some amazing nature walks in the areas where you can simply get lost and soak in the atmosphere. Table Mountain is not to be missed because this is a feature which is simply unique. You can get up here along with the cable care. For those who are feeling fit enough, you will be able to take a trail and walk up.

Wine tours can be arranged at reasonable rates. It is something to think about since these juices are world famous and won't disappoint. You will find that the guides are extremely professional and know exactly what they are doing. You will be taken to some of the best wine farms which are only about an hour outside of Cape Town.

There are also some very famous wine estates in Cape Town which have a lot of history behind their names, so this is also something to bear in mind. You will learn about how the wines are made and you will have a chance to enjoy one of the restaurants.
